Patriot Caps started because I couldn't find a decent Australian flag cap. Everything out there was either cheap tourist stock or too loud to wear twice.
I served in the Australian Army, deployed to Afghanistan. I run the business from Diamond Creek: I design the caps, heat press every design myself, and pack every order. If you message us, you're talking to me.

About the width of your thumb
The Patriot Caps monogram — a P with a cap on the back of it, brim facing down, and the Southern Cross on the crown — heat pressed low on the left front panel. It takes up about an eighth of the panel. That's the whole design.
Nothing across the front. No wordmark, nothing on the side, nothing on the back. If you want a cap people can read from across the car park, this isn't the one.
White on the Black cap, charcoal on the Storm. Subtle from across the room, sharp up close.
One size, dialled in
Fit is the thing customers mention more than anything else, and it's the thing you can't check through a screen. So here's everything.

Still not sure? Buy it, try it on, send it back within 30 days if it's not right.

The honest answer
The blanks are made in Asia. Every bit of decoration and finishing is done here. I press the monogram myself, check it, and pack it in Victoria.
Australia barely has a textile industry left. Even the Olympic uniform is made offshore. So we're honest about it, and we keep every dollar of the work we can here, to support Australian businesses.
Six things you can't see in a photo

Every order ships like this
Boxed, wrapped, and a thank-you card in with it. Packed by hand in Victoria, out the door in 1–2 business days.

5% of every sale goes to Swiss 8
Swiss 8 was started by Afghanistan veterans. Free, practical mental-health tools for Australian veterans. Training, nutrition, sleep, routine. Over 2,000 supported, and they're building NinGula Homestead now.
I got out of the Army in 2012. It took another fourteen years before I started this. What stayed with me was the way Australians pull together when it counts, and wanting more of that back home. That is why Patriot Caps exists.
5% of every sale. Not profit.
